Now that was totally unexpected. What a hoot! Even though I've been a huge Elvis fan since I was a kid, I've never really wanted to make a special trip to Graceland. What a fun stop on a cross-country trip, though.
And to think I've been to Nashville 3 times - just a couple of hours away. Should we go back west, we'll have to make a stop on the trip. Except we have 3 cats. Melissa, what did you do with your cats on your stops?
Kathy- I actually did not go on the tour of Graceland, precisely because I had my cat with me. (Well, that, and it was 25 bucks and two hours.) He was in the car while I took pictures of the outside. Having him with me did make side trips limited, but it was cool enough outside to leave him in the car to grab a sandwich or something like that.

ReplyDeleteSigh, Elvis....Thanks! And Kathy, what are you waiting for? *I've* been, so surely you're duty bound!!

Ah, yes, we learned to go through the drive-through and grab something to take to the room right before we checked in with our 3 cats.
